Elden Ring Nightreign Is Bringing Back Its First Set of Everdark Bosses, Before the Next Sovereigns Arrive

by 9 July 2025025

Elden Ring Nightreign has already rolled out three of its enhanced bosses, dubbed Everdark Sovereigns, since launch. And earlier than the subsequent ones arrive in the Lands Between, developer FromSoftware is bringing the unique three again for some limited-time rematches.

The Everdark Sovereign variations of Gaping Jaw, Sentient Pest, and Darkdrift Knight will all be coming again in pairs over the subsequent three weeks, beginning tomorrow on July 10. Don’t fret, you will not need to combat them each at the identical time; this simply looks like a approach for gamers who missed the unique runs of the monstrously enhanced Nightlords to get a second shot at them.

Per FromSoftware’s schedule, the Gaping Jaw and Darkdrift Knight can be the first duo up. This is the full schedule:

  • July 10 – 17: Gaping Jaw, Darkdrift Knight
  • July 17 – 24: Sentient Pest, Darkdrift Knight
  • July 24 – 31: Gaping Jaw, Sentient Pest

Now, for many who have dropped off a bit or want a motive to return again to Elden Ring Nightreign, you will have some massive, dangerous bosses to sort out.

Gamers who’ve been locked-in since launch, although, is likely to be disillusioned to see FromSoftware re-running the previous Everdark bosses already. In that case, do not fret. The studio confirmed that Everdark Sovereign variations of Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog are nonetheless in the works, and the timing of their arrival can be introduced at a later date. I do not know what’s in retailer, however I like this one reply suggesting Tricephalos will constantly cut up into much more canines, like some form of dog-hydra.

All of the Everdark Sovereigns appear to have been pretty well-received thus far, too. Whereas Gaping Jaw actually made an impression with its shock debut, the comparatively tamer upgrades to Darkdrift Knight and Sentient Pest each added so much to every bout.

There’s nonetheless DLC anticipated someplace down the highway for Elden Ring Nightreign, however contemplating we’re just a few months faraway from its launch, I believe we’re seeing an inexpensive cadence of new content material and recurring pictures at timed occasions. Duos and crossplay would nonetheless be good, however in any other case, there’s nonetheless a lot to do and see in the Lands Between.
