Dragami Video games has introduced that the upcoming Switch 2 port of Lollipop Chainsaw has been delayed. It was beforehand set to launch this November however is now coming in “early 2026.”
The developer said the delay was as a result of quantity of requests for a bodily version of the sport’s RePOP remaster model. The studio wished to align the digital and bodily releases, so it opted to delay all variations to 2026.
“We sincerely apologize for the prolonged wait and any inconvenience this may occasionally trigger. We recognize your understanding and continued help,” Dragami stated.
James Gunn–the co-CEO of DC Studios and the director of the not too long ago launched Superman reboot–co-wrote the story for Lollipop Chainsaw, which was co-directed by Goichi Suda aka Suda51. Nonetheless, neither Gunn nor Suda51 had any involvement with the remaster.
The RePOP version initially got here out in 2024 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
