Marcus Lehto–best identified for co-creating the unique Halo–has left Ridgeline Video games and Digital Arts. He was Ridgeline’s sport director in control of creating new expertise for the Battlefield sequence.
In line with Lehto’s Facebook and LinkedIn profiles, he not too long ago left Ridgeline Video games. Moreover, his profile on Twitter would not have point out of Ridgeline Video games–only references to his work because the co-creator of the Halo sequence and creator of Disintegration.
Neither Lehto nor EA have stated something, so it is unknown whether or not he left voluntarily or if layoffs occurred. Nevertheless, he not too long ago posted a picture earlier this month together with his crew out for lunch, suggesting an abrupt departure. Lehto joined Digital Arts again in 2021 after the launch of Battlefield 2042, which bought a disappointing reception.
Ridgeline Video games was based with a view to assist construct single-player campaigns inside the Battlefield universe. The following Battlefield shall be a “reimagination,” in response to EA. One other Battlefield studio, Ripple Impact, is engaged on an “totally new Battlefield expertise,” and a multiplayer expertise from DICE remains to be on the way in which.
