Cattle Country Aims to Mix Stardew Valley With a Dash of Red Dead Redemption

Developer Fort Pixel and writer Playtonic Mates have introduced Cattle Country, a new “cozy cowboy life-sim journey” within the works for PC (through Steam). It guarantees pixel-art graphics, 18 romanceable characters, cattle to increase, bandits to fend off, and buried treasure to dig up, amongst different gameplay components. Fishing, searching, and farming will make up the core of the gameplay in what Fort Pixel and Playtonic Mates invoice as a sport that goals to be “Red Dead Redemption meets Stardew Valley.”

Playtonic Mates is the publishing arm of Yooka-Laylee developer Playtonic, whereas Fort Pixel beforehand developed Blossom Tales and Rex Rocket.
