Musician and Recreation of Thrones actor Ed Sheeran has revealed that he rejected a Fortnite collab, saying he would not play the sport and did not wish to lend his identify to one thing he would not care about. As an alternative, Sheeran labored with The Pokemon Firm on a Pokemon track as a result of he loves Pokemon.
“[My record label] requested me to do one thing for Fortnite. I used to be like, ‘I do not play Fortnite.’ I really feel like everytime you see my face close to any product, I would like it to be one thing I really do,” he instructed Jackson Warne not too long ago (via ShiinaBR).
“It needs to be actual. So when my file firm was like, ‘We will put you in Fortnite, I used to be like, ‘I do not actually wish to do this.’ However, I do play Pokemon. We contacted Pokemon and that is why we did the track. I really like Pokemon.”
Sheeran wrote a brand new track, “Celestial” for Pokemon and likewise carried out inside Pokemon Go.
