Game Republic has revealed the nominees for its 2025 Industry Awards, with over 100 nominations throughout 12 classes celebrating growth, studios, and people in video games.
A brand new accolade has been launched this 12 months – the Martyn Brown Rising Star Award – honouring the reminiscence of the Team17 and Game Republic co-founder who handed away final December.
The awards might be judged by Game Republic, its sponsors, and its lead choose. This 12 months, that title goes to The Guardian’s Keith Stuart.
The Finest Indie Game in The North is judged by a public vote.
Winners might be revealed on November 13 at WX Wakefield as a part of GaMaYo. Over 400 builders are set to attend the general occasion.
“Yearly we see extra nominations coming by way of for studios, people and video games which is testimony to the good work occurring throughout The North,” Game Republic managing director Jamie Sefton.
“It is a nice alternative to shine a lightweight on that work and rejoice success and galvanizing people in addition to the video games being produced right here.”
