Looks Like Bethesda Is Finally Announcing That Oblivion Remaster Tomorrow

After months of rumors and leaks, it seems like Bethesda is lastly able to make its remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion an actual announcement tomorrow.

In a publish on Twitter/X at present, the official Bethesda account introduced an announcement for tomorrow at 8am PT/11am ET throughout each YouTube and Twitch. Whereas they did not specify precisely what the announcement could be, the large “IV” within the heart of the picture and the background that appears suspiciously like a widely known piece of official Oblivion artwork kiiiiiind of offers it away.

A remake of Oblivion has been rumored for it looks as if ceaselessly now, with rumors turning to leaks in more moderen weeks. We first realized it is perhaps within the works because of a 2020 Bethesda launch schedule that leaked as a part of the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, which mentioned an Oblivion remaster was deliberate for fiscal 12 months 2022. On the time, the doc was sufficiently old (and the discharge window gone) that it was potential to put in writing this off as a canceled mission. However then, in January of this 12 months, one other leak dropped, this time portray the remaster as a full-blown remake being made by Bethesda alongside help studio Virtuos. And simply final week, these leaks have been all-but-confirmed when much more leaks, this time from Virtuos’ web site, confirmed up, together with pictures of the remake in motion.

If the leaks from final week stay true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered will launch on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, and can embody a Deluxe Version launch with horse armor alongside the fundamental model.

Tune in tomorrow to, hopefully, hear all this confirmed and extra particulars apart from.
