Microsoft’s wave of sport cancellations continues right now with the announcement that Simply Trigger developer Avalanche’s day-one Game Pass launch Contraband has been cancelled. This was first confirmed by reporter Jason Schreier.
Introduced in 2021, Contraband was described as a “co-op smuggler’s paradise” set in a fictional world within the ’70s. The announcement trailer used Steely Dan’s “Do It Once more,” which debuted within the early ’70s.
