Pedro Pascal, who performs Joel in HBO’s The Last of Us, has mentioned the “generally sick pleasure” of engaged on the post-apocalyptic sequence and the way “storytelling is cathartic” when the true world is present process change and upheaval as it’s as we speak.
“There is a very wholesome and generally sick pleasure in that form of catharsis and a secure area to see human relationships below disaster and in ache and intelligently draw a political allegory, societal allegory, and base it off of the world that we’re dwelling in,” he stated, as reported by (*2*).
