After being shut out at The Sport Awards, Spider-Man 2 will hope to have higher luck on the upcoming DICE Awards, which it leads with 9 nominations.
The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) introduced the awards nominations on January 10, with Spider-Man 2 main and Alan Wake 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3 shut behind with eight nominations and 7 nominations respectively. COCOON was one other standout, becoming a member of the aforementioned video games and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom within the Sport of the Yr class.

The DICE Award nominees are chosen by panels comprising “the sport business’s most skilled and proficient specialists of their chosen fields.” The awards will likely be held throughout DICE Summit, which is scheduled to happen in Las Vegas between February 13 and February 15. IGN’s Stella Chung will host the February 15 ceremony alongside Kinda Humorous’s Greg Miller.
