In late 2022, Splinter Cell Remake director David Grivel introduced that he was leaving Ubisoft after 11 years and occurring a “new journey.” That led him to work on Battlefield 6 for EA. Now that journey has taken Grivel again to Ubisoft as he reclaims his outdated job because the director of the Splinter Cell Remake.
Grivel introduced his return to the Splinter Cell Remake group on LinkedIn (through GamesRadar).
“Immediately, I’m very, VERY blissful to announce that I am rejoining Ubisoft Toronto as Recreation Director on the Splinter Cell Remake!” wrote Grivel. “A really particular group and undertaking to me.”
