
The unique director of Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell remake, David Grivel, has returned to recommence his function as director on the recreation after leaving Ubisoft in 2022.
Grivel confirmed the information himself in a post on LinkedIn (through GamesRadar).
“At this time, I’m very, very comfortable to announce that I’m rejoining Ubisoft Toronto as Recreation Director on the Splinter Cell Remake!” wrote Grivel, noting the staff and undertaking are very particular to him.
Grivel beforehand labored at Ubisoft for simply over a decade, from 2011 to 2022. Prior to his temporary preliminary tenure as director on the Splinter Cell remake he contributed as a recreation designer on quite a lot of tasks, together with Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Murderer’s Creed: Unity, Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 4, and Far Cry 5.
Grivel rejoins Ubisoft after a stint at Ridgeline Video games engaged on the marketing campaign mode for Battlefield 6, till EA abruptly shuttered the studio in early 2024.
