Stellar Blade Director Says No Microtransactions Outside of Potential Crossover Collaborations

In a current interview with Ruliweb translated by Genji and confirmed by IGN, director Kim Hyeong-tae talked about what gamers can count on on launch day. One function Stellar Blade followers should not count on is microtransactions… at the very least not initially.

“We need to make it clear at this level that Stellar Blade won’t require any extra bills that players usually are not conscious of past what they paid for the package deal,” Kim advised Ruliweb.

Though Kim assured followers that Stellar Blade will not have any microtransactions, Shift Up hasn’t totally dominated out promoting them sooner or later.

“The one exception is that if we create collaboration costumes with one other firm’s IP, these could also be offered for a price,” Kim stated. “Additionally, there isn’t any New Recreation+ within the launch model, so please look ahead to it being up to date very quickly.”

Whereas Shift Up has no plans for premium DLC on the outset, Kim did tease gamers with free updates post-launch, chief amongst them being extra costumes for its protagonist, Eve. Regardless, come launch day, Stellar Blade’s base recreation will not have any microtransactions.

Stellar Blade is a Ps 5 unique action-adventure recreation by the builders of the favored cell recreation, Goddess of Victory: Nikke. It follows a woman named Eve as she combats mysterious invaders generally known as NA:tives, to reclaim a post-apocalyptic Earth.
