Amid growing hypothesis about the way forward for Xbox, its exclusives, and even its standing as a {hardware} producer, Phil Spencer reportedly instructed staff final week that it has no plans to cease making consoles.
Reporter Shannon Liao mentioned in her weekly Substack business e-newsletter that Spencer moved to reassure workers throughout an all-hands assembly on Tuesday.
“The corporate held an inside Tuesday townhall the place Spencer instructed staff that there have been no plans to cease making consoles, and that Xboxes would proceed to be a part of a method that includes a number of sorts of gadgets,” Liao reported. Microsoft has but to remark.
