Fireteam Elite 2 Announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S

Builders Chilly Iron Studios and Dawn Sport Firm have introduced Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, a sequel to the favored 2021 three-player, third-person PvE shooter. It is in growth for PC (on Steam and Epic Video games Retailer), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S – and it is due out this summer season.

The obvious new change you will see within the trailer above is the addition of a fourth participant to the Xenomorph-blasting motion. However there’s a lot extra to inform you about – and present you – as Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is our IGN First editorial “cowl story” for the month of Could. Meaning we’ll have gameplay, hands-on impressions, in addition to data on courses and enemies. All of that can roll out one unique at a time over the following couple of weeks, starting subsequent week.

Just a few particulars for now, although: full cross-play is supported, and there are new Xenomorph varieties and improved participant courses, in addition to the Specialist –a completely customizable class that allows you to combine and match skills from any class. Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 may also launch with a Horde mode with devoted Horde maps that throw ever-larger and tougher waves of enemies – with higher and higher rewards to match.

In case you by no means tried the unique Aliens: Fireteam Elite, do not miss our assessment in addition to the 9 Aliens Easter eggs we discovered hiding in it.

Ryan McCaffrey is IGN’s government editor of previews and host of each IGN’s weekly Xbox present, Podcast Unlocked, in addition to our semi-retired interview present, IGN Unfiltered. He is a North Jersey man, so it is “Taylor ham,” not “pork roll.” Debate it with him on Twitter at @DMC_Ryan.
